Gracie and Zach’s story began in May 2023 with a simple swipe right on Bumble—but it quickly turned into something much more. Despite living an hour apart—Gracie in Myrtle Beach and Zach in Whiteville—they made their long-distance relationship work for a year, fueled by love, laughter, and late-night calls.

Their very first date was at Chipotle (a true culinary classic) followed by Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. Gracie still teases Zach for crying during the sad part—he claims there was “something in his eye,” but we all know Rocket’s story hit a little too hard.

Together, they’ve built a life full of shared passions. From beach days and video game marathons to cuddling their beloved dog Snowball, their days are filled with joy and mutual support. Whether Gracie is on the sidelines coaching her volleyball team or Zach is calling plays on the football field, they’re always each other’s biggest supporter.

In November 2024, Zach suggested a romantic walk on the beach. Gracie was immediately suspicious—it was way too cold for that kind of spontaneity—but her hunch was right. He dropped to one knee, and just like that, their next chapter began.

Now living together in Longs, they’re counting down the days until their wedding on November 22, 2025—ready to continue their adventure, side by side.
