Q + A

As we approach the date of the wedding, we will be updating this page to answer more questions as they become more relevant. If you have any questions currently that are not answered here, please use the "Contact Us" section to send us an email, and we'll be sure to get back with you ASAP!

RSVP

What date should I RSVP by?

Please RSVP by September 5th.

Do I have to RSVP online, or can I mail a response?

We have not provided a mail-in RSVP card as we are asking all guests to RSVP on the website.

Venue

What are the addresses of the wedding ceremony and reception venues?

The wedding ceremony and reception will both be taking place at the Crawfordsville Masonic Temple! The address is 221 S Washington St, Crawfordsville, IN 47933

Is the venue location wheelchair accessible?

Yes! For any of our guests who may need it, there is a ramp located on the side of the building.

Will the ceremony/reception be indoors or outdoors?

The entire event will take place indoors.

Is there parking available at the venue?

Behind the Masonic Temple is a parking lot shared with the Crawfordsville District Public Library. This parking lot is available parking for the venue. If you are at the light intersecting South Washington Street and West Wabash Avenue with the Masonic Temple and public library on your right, turn right onto West Wabash Avenue. Then, turn right onto South Walnut Street, and the parking lot will be on your right.

Dress Code

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

We are asking all guests to wear something comfortable and business casual.

Are there any colors you would prefer me to wear?

Our only request is that guests avoid wearing black, white, burnt orange, and emerald green, as we have selected these colors for the wedding party.

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Typically, expect cool temperatures and cloudy skies. However, it's Indiana, and unpredictable seasons are our specialty. If possible, we recommend looking at the forecast for the area before leaving.

Plus Ones and Little Ones

Are kids welcome?

While we love all your little ones, we want to allow all guests - including parents - an opportunity to relax and have fun. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?

Please only bring those that are listed on your invitation and in your online RSVP. When you RSVP, who is included in your party will be listed.

Menu and Dietary Restrictions

What food can I expect at the wedding?

We will be providing pizza, sodas, water, and there will be a bartender running a cash bar. We will also have a variety of candies!

Will there be meal options for guests with dietary restrictions or allergies?

When you RSVP, there will be a question regarding any dietary restrictions, and we are prepared to provide food options for these restrictions.

Wedding Day Itinerary

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Doors to the venue open at 2:00 PM. We ask that guests arrive 15 minutes before the scheduled start of the ceremony, as the ceremony will begin at 2:30 PM.

What time will the wedding reception end?

The wedding reception is set to end at 8:30 PM, with the DJ playing the final song at 8:15 PM.

Will there be a time gap between your wedding ceremony and reception?

There will be a cocktail hour in the reception hall immediately following the ceremony and lasting until 4:00 PM.

Technology and Social Media

Am I allowed to take photos during the wedding?

We will have a "social media minute" at the beginning of the ceremony in which guests are invited to take photos using their phones. After this, we ask that guests put their phones away for the remainder of the ceremony. We ask that no photos are taken during the first dance and parent dances, but after this, please feel free to take as many photos and videos during the reception as you please! We have extremely talented photographers and videographers here to capture the day, and we will share these photos and videos with you once they become available to us! Please allow them to do their jobs by keeping phones and other cameras away.

Can I post wedding photos on social media?

Please feel free! If you'd like to use our wedding hashtag to allow us to easily find photos, it is #hoangwedding2024
