Our Wedding

Like many great love stories, ours began in the most unexpected way—right in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic. In the summer of 2020, Gracie, then serving as the 2019 National Jersey Queen, traveled to the Wisconsin State Show to fulfill her duties. As God would have it, she found herself walking down Milksource’s aisle—and right into Grant’s path.At the time, Gracie was living in Oregon with her family, and Grant was a student at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. Life carried on, but nearly a year later, Grant made his way west to help Gracie’s family at the Western National Jersey Show in Salem, Oregon. That trip was the start of something neither of them could have imagined—though both now know God was writing their story all along.When Gracie moved to Wisconsin to pursue her academic career, it didn’t take long for sparks to turn into something more. By December 2022, they were officially dating—and from then on, life has been full of adventures. From cow shows and wrestling tournaments to quiet nights with family, each memory has been a reminder of the joy they find in each other’s company.Grounded in faith, Grant and Gracie often look back in awe at the Lord’s perfect timing. As they prepare to step into marriage, they do so with eager hearts, ready to see all the fullness and goodness of God’s plan unfold.
