In the Summer of 2020, Gracie had downloaded and deleted Bumble, a dating app, a handful of times. Due to the on-and-off nature of the dating app, she has no memory of actually matching with Ben on it, although Ben swears it happened. What Gracie does remember is a random guy adding her on Snapchat that July. The rest of that summer, Ben and Gracie talked online until their first date in September. Although it took Ben until October 26th, 2020, to make things official, the two have been inseparable ever since. On Sunday, June 1st of 2025, Ben proposed in Grand Haven on their way home from a weekend getaway in Mackinac. They look forward to celebrating their (almost) sixth dating anniversary and their wedding day with their loved ones on October 24, 2026.
