Xander and Gracie first crossed paths in August 2022 at their church’s college group. What started as a simple friendship quickly grew into something more, sparked by a few unforgettable moments—a scenic airplane ride with Xander as the pilot, a Starbucks date (that Xander swears he was tricked into), and a cozy night watching the Weird Al movie. By December 22, 2022, after meeting each other’s families and sharing the holidays together, Xander asked Gracie to be his girlfriend. From that moment on, life became a series of adventures they couldn’t imagine sharing with anyone else.Two years later, on September 15, 2024, Xander proposed in the very place they first met. It only took two weeks to plan, but pulling off the surprise wasn’t easy—Gracie’s type A instincts had her determined to figure out what was going on! Thankfully, with the help of family and friends, the proposal was perfect… and of course, Gracie said yes. Just a few months later, on December 22, 2024—exactly two years from the day they started dating—Gracie and Xander said “I do.” It was the sweetest way to celebrate their love and the beginning of their forever.
