Gage and Gracie (author anonymous) met for the first time when they were 15 years old at Opportunity Camp - a church volunteer week in the Middle of Nowhere, Texas. They knew each other briefly and parted ways after a week of card games and exchanging stories.

Fast forward three years at a church potluck in College Station - a week after moving to college- they recognized each other from across the room. They began to see each other more frequently in their college group - Aggies for Christ. Gracie made the first move (and she will stand by that fact) by texting Gage and inviting him personally to game nights. Gage got the hint, and their first date was at Sweet Eugenes coffee shop. One whirlwind week later, Gage said, "I think I L-word you" and he will never live it down. One month into their relationship, Gracie called her mom saying, "If I don't marry him, I want to marry someone just like him."

Now, after four years of major life changes - Gage transferring to Lubbock Christian University, then Gracie graduating nursing school and moving to Nashville, TN, (enduring 2.5 YEARS of long distance) they are overjoyed to move into the next phase of life together!
