First meeting out at bar in Providence of December 2019 both Marquis and Gracie played somewhat hard to get. Gracie more so in the beginning when she had Marquis waiting in a parking lot for over an hour while she got ready.

Their first date composed of breakfast at iHop, a brewery, lunch/ dinner at Brass Monkey and then going out again to Black Sheep in Providence.

Just as they were starting to get to know each other, a pandemic hit. But that only brought them closer. Gracie would travel to Raynham on her off days from the Pediatrics office and spend many nights over at Marquis' house getting to know each other.

May 2020 Gracie started PA school, which was a major challenge in their relationship. Marquis would stay awake late at night playing his Xbox to keep Gracie company while she studied and did practice quizzes. Somewhere in the middle of PA school, they made their relationship official. It began to flourish and they started to plan for the future. Without the strong support, encouragement and Marquis letting Gracie practice many exams on him; Gracie wouldn't have survived some of her toughest battles through PA school and receive her white coat.

After, Gracie started her new job at RIH. She spends her free time planning many trips for her and Marquis to go on in between taking care of patients. Marquis on the other hand used his time to design an engagement ring in between his bridge inspections and playing Xbox.

Throughout their time together they both love to watch every Celtics game, hang out with family, watch Netflix, and enjoy their Sunday night routine of cookies and milk.
