It all began when I was a senior in high school, and Jacob had just graduated. Fate had a plan for us, and little did we know that our paths were destined to intertwine. Our love blossomed, overcoming the challenges of starting a relationship during a time of transition.

As I went off to the University of Nebraska-Lincoln to pursue my dreams, Jacob and I faced the reality of a long-distance relationship. Those four years were a test of our commitment, but Jacob's unwavering dedication and countless weekend visits made the distance bearable. Each moment spent together was a blessing, and our love grew stronger with every day.

Upon graduating from UNL, I made the journey back to Burwell, and Jacob and I faced a new chapter together. It was a time of decisions, and we took a leap of faith by purchasing our first home. Little did I know, Jacob had an even bigger surprise in store for me.

On Thanksgiving day, as we captured moments with pictures, Jacob dropped to one knee and proposed. To say I was surprised would be an understatement—it was a moment of pure, unfiltered bliss. The man I had loved the last 4 years was now asking me to spend the rest of my life with him.

Our love story is nothing short of amazing, a testament to the power of perseverance, dedication, and the belief that true love can withstand any distance. As we embark on this new chapter, planning a future that includes forever, I can't help but feel grateful for the journey that brought Jacob and me together.
