Beau and Gracie met in college at the University of Tennessee Knoxville the summer of 2020. They caught each other’s eye at a pool party around Gracie’s birthday in July. That night, Beau tracked Gracie’s Instagram down and followed her. Beau and Gracie stayed acquaintances until December of 2020. It was then that Beau’s parents locked him away in “Boys Town” (yes it is exactly what it sounds like it is), in their house after Beau came down with COVID. After some self reflecting and too much time alone, Beau decided he wanted to take things a step further with Gracie. To do so, he decided to Snapchat her until he got a reply. Eventually, Gracie replied. The two made it official on January 21, 2021.

Gracie was finishing her last semester in nursing school while Beau stepped into his role of General Manager of Avalon Country Club. Gracie had planned to move back to her hometown of Nashville. Little did Gracie know, Beau had other plans for her. With May quickly approaching, the two were both dreading the big move and the long distance relationship that was soon to be. Beau knew he had to express his feelings - if you know Beau, you know this is not an easy thing for him to do. February 14th, 2021 was a great Valentine’s Day for Gracie (and a big one for Beau). He gifted Gracie with a Blue Topaz ring, not knowing at the time that she would one day get to wear that ring for her ‘something blue’ on their wedding day. Beau and Gracie have been inseparable since January 2021, sharing the best of times at the beach, plenty of UT sporting events, golfing together, and many more memories. In January of 2024, Beau decided to declare his feelings (once again with a beautiful ring) by asking Gracie to marry him in their favorite place, Destin, Florida with some of their closest friends. And so the wedding planning and future together began!
