Our Wedding

Grant and Taylor met at the beginning of their sophomore year of college. They were both in the same friend group, and would occasionally hang out if the group got together. They enjoyed talking to each other, but nothing more than friendship came from this fall semester. At the start of the spring semester there was a buzz about the Valentine's Banquet, but neither went with anyone, so they ended up sitting at the same table, and right across from each other! Taylor gave Grant the rest of her steak from dinner, and this was possibly when she started winning him over! That next weekend they hung out for the first time without any of their friends, and they realized how much they enjoyed spending time together. Through summer break they continued talking, and when they returned for their Junior year, Grant asked Taylor to be his girlfriend! Through the next year they grew closer and closer, and knew in their own hearts that the Lord had put them together. On July 1, 2024, Grant asked Taylor to marry him on his grandmother's property at an outlook over the beautiful woods of Michigan. She said yes, and now they are looking forward to our wedding day!

Recommendation for Where to Stay:

We recommend looking into Air BnBs in Salisbury or surrounding towns if you need to stay overnight. Salisbury is close to a beach town, and the hotels become very expensive in the summer and fill up fast. Air BnBs are a great way for families to stay together and can be much cheaper than a hotel.

If you want to see the Atlantic Ocean and also have shops and food to enjoy, Ocean City is a great place for couples or families to enjoy!

Assateague Beach is a beautiful place! There are even wild ponies that have made this beach their home.

Assateague Island National Seashore

This is the home of the Delmarva Shorebirds baseball team! If there are any games for the time you will be in Salisbury, this is a great activity to enjoy!
