Our Wedding

With the increasing number of COVID cases in Texas and the United States........ After lots of prayer and consideration, we have made the decision to limit our wedding to our families, wedding party, and a few close family friends. We are sad to be in this position and wish more than anything that we could host the wedding we had dreamed of, but given the increasing number of Covid cases and the unforeseen nature of the pandemic, and out of care for the health of ourselves, family and friends, we are holding a much smaller ceremony and reception. Annie and I both want to thank you so much for all the love and support you’ve shown us, and we want everyone to be able to celebrate together in a SAFE manner, so we will be creating a Facebook page where we will live stream the wedding!!! COVID Update

For the first football game of my freshman year I went to the KA tailgate. I was so excited to finally be a Longhorn and I wanted to meet as many people as possible. I walked up to my friend Cade and he told me something that changed my life, "My brother just came up to me and said you are the most beautiful girl here and that he has to meet you." Soon after, Grant walked up and we sat down and talked for an hour. It was what my Rom-Com heart had always dreamed. I had been spotted across the room and that's how we began:)

How We Met

After meeting Annie at the football game, I immediately knew that she was special. From the moment we started talking, I was drawn to her fun, bubbly, and bold personality. Not even a week later, we shared our love for the dance floor and made memories having so much fun together! As she was a freshman and I was a sophomore, I wasn't convinced that we should be dating so early in college. Though a couple months later, I couldn't help but notice how different she was. I could see a future with her and I wanted it. I still remember being nervous on my way to ask her to be my girlfriend. The thoughts racing through my mind.... what is she going to say? .... what if she says no? .... is this too early? ... I mean, I've already taken her to Chili's multiple times now, she HAS to know this is serious, right?!? I asked her that afternoon after having gone to Church together, and she said yes. Mission accomplished.

How We Started Dating

The day was absolutely perfect. I woke up and had no idea that I was about to get engaged! My roommate Kendrah said we should go for a bestie brunch and I thought okay this will be fun. She kept prompting me to get cute but I really wasn't catching the hint. We got to the restaurant and sitting inside was a table of some of my closest friends. At first I was shocked that they were all together but then it hit me that something was going on. One handed me a letter with 1 written on the front. It said, "Finally the day we have been waiting for. - G" I started weeping. Grant, with the help of our friends, set up the most beautiful perfect day.<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J4PljHMMRus" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Click Here</a>When I finally saw him he was holding flowers by Lake Austin with a bench and wine. We sat and he said many kind things and then proposed! I surprised him with a letter I had written and then we met with friends and family to celebrate! We cannot wait to celebrate with all of you come August 1! See you on the dance floor;)

Parking on property is limited, please plan to carpool together if possible. Beginning at 5:30pm, Buses will be available at the property entrance to transport you from your vehicle to the wedding site. Buses will also return you to your vehicle at your desired exit time.
