Grant and Casey's love story began in Ankeny, IA, back in 2017. Grant had recently moved to Iowa and Casey had been attending college at Iowa State University. They met through a mutual friend and definitely wanted to get to know each other more!

Whenever Casey was visiting their friend, Grant would try his best to find a chance to talk to her, and Casey would do the same for Grant. After some flirtatious banter was exchanged back and forth over a night with a double date dinner and games, Casey came up with a flawless plan to ask Grant on a date after some careful planning. She was visiting their friend for the weekend and when it was time for her to leave, she purposefully left her phone charger at the apartment so she would have to go back after Grant came home. She played it off as forgetting the charger and talked to Grant about a conversation they had about favorite foods the day before. She asked him if he wanted to take on the challenge of cooking her dinner, he excitedly accepted, and the rest is history!

After two years of making memories and growing to love one another deeply, Grant asked Casey on a date to Ledges State Park where he had fell in love with her, found the perfect spot, set up his camera in the tree and hit record, got on one knee, and asked Casey to marry him. Casey was very surprised and of course said yes! They can’t wait for this exciting new chapter to begin!
