It all started at St. Edwards University in Austin, Texas. Grant joined the men’s soccer team in the Fall 2013. Vanessa came shortly after when she joined the women’s tennis team in Fall 2014. Having a similar group of friends, they periodically hung out with each other. Grant worked up the effort into talking to Vanessa, in the summer of 2017. They quickly became infatuated with each other and realized how many things they had in common. Not only did they have a similar friend group, but they were also both very active, healthy people who enjoyed Vegas pool parties and 2 am P Terrys. Shortly after college, they faced the hardships of long-distance dating, but this time only grew them closer together. When they finally were able to move in together while living in Dallas, they realize the only thing missing was the next step of marriage (and Milo).Their decision to get married in Mexico City, comes from their desire to travel the world and their love for Mexican culture. They want to thank everyone who is going to make it out to Mexico City, to celebrate Grant and Vanessa and their love for one another. Hope everyone is ready for a night to remember and lots of tequila.
