We became best friends first, before either of us realized we were building something more. Dalton was kind, quiet, and always giving. Gray was free-spirited, full of life, and completely herself. He saw something in her worth waiting for, even when she wasn’t ready. And she saw something in him she didn’t yet have words for — something safe, something steady. She turned him down more than once, unsure if she was ready. But he stayed — not to convince her, but to show her the kind of love he’d offer. That’s how she knew. He knew the moment she showed up at his house — unexpected, unplanned, unforgettable. She wasn’t supposed to stay. But something in him didn’t want her to leave. They’ve been inseparable ever since. They moved through seasons side by side — from shared nights to their first home, from quiet comforts to wild laughter. Together, they’ve grown. Together, they’ve healed. Their love is soft and funny and steady. It’s inside jokes and beach trips, family holidays and late-night drives. It’s “I’m loving you,” not just “I love you” — because for them, love isn’t a thing you say once. It’s a choice, a rhythm, a way of being. On December 27, 2024, they walked to the mailbox together. Gray opened the mailbox — confused, rambling — until she turned and saw Dalton on one knee with a ring. She cried. He laughed. She held out her hand without answering. He told her he needed a yes “for tax purposes.” Inside the gift box: earrings, and a note she didn’t open until later. It didn’t matter. She already knew. This is not just a love story. It’s a home, a friendship, a forever built on the quiet decision to keep choosing each other — in laughter, in chaos, in all things.

It’s the kind of setting that invites a touch of ease without losing the sense of occasion.   We’re asking guests to stick to a dressy casual style. That means: ✔️ Sundresses, midi or tea-length dresses, skirts with blouses ✔️ Dress pants, khakis, button-downs, polos, or other smart tops ✔️ Comfortable shoes suited for grass or gravel (block heels, boots, flats, dressy sandals)   To keep things respectful to the setting (and the celebration), please avoid: 🚫 Jeans (of any kind) 🚫 T-shirts or graphic tees 🚫 Sweats, joggers, or athleisure 🚫 White, ivory, or cream — let the bride have her moment 🤍  Think outdoor wedding meets garden party — polished, comfortable, and a little elevated. If you’re unsure, dressing up just a bit is always better than dressing down too far.
