Our Wedding

Grayson and Danielle met during their freshman year at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. From strangers who quickly became close friends, they began dating by their second semester of sophomore year. From graduating college to moving away for a few years, Grayson and Danielle currently find themselves back in the town where it all began. Shy of five years of being together, Grayson planned a weekend getaway at the end of October 2023. On that quiet trip north, he decided to propose to Danielle at the top of a lookout over Mirror Lake in the Porcupine Mountains! We are very excited to be able to celebrate our love with our family and friends!

We will be utilizing this hotel as a pick-up point for the shuttle that will bring guest to and from the wedding venue. Individuals are welcome to call and reserve outside of the block of room if they are able to receive a better price point. You can use the link to the website below for if you are booking for the night before and the night of the wedding. Or call the number above, and tell them you will be staying for just one night, what night that is, and say it will be for the Dahlby Wedding. We welcome guests to stay where they prefer however please keep in mind this is the only location that the shuttle will be going to and from. Rooms will be on available till 30 days prior to our wedding, but then they will be open for the public to reserve.

We will be utilizing a shuttle system to and from the hotel and venue. This will allow our guests to enjoy the day of the wedding without worrying about traveling at the end of the night. There will be multiple trips back to the hotel through the night, however, earlier trips than the ones above can be made if needed. The shuttle will be able to carry up to 46 individuals at a time. See shuttle departure times above. Please note that if you plan to take the 3:30 trip to the venue, you risk not having a seat and needing to drive yourself or show up after the start time of the ceremony.
