Ansley and I love talking about the beginning of our relationship, for it was full of excitement and lots of laughter. This quickly turned into deep conversations and me falling for her.

At the beginning, I remember seeing Ansley around campus and couldn’t help but notice how beautiful she was. I began asking around and trying to find out who she was. Everyone I talked to only had positive things to say about her for she had a reputation of being sweet, funny, and kind to every soul she came across. The only thing stopping me was that I was also told that Ansley doesn’t date and doesn’t really want to in college, but who doesn’t love a challenge.

The chase was on and Ansley quickly found out I had a little crush on her. But luckily I was in her good graces due to some unforeseen and surprising deep conversations that I had with some of her friends. The reassurance from her friends and the continuous pushing from mine finally gave me the courage to talk to her one on one. I was terrified but it went very well. The friends we both had played a large roll in the beginning of our relationship. Many of them will be seen standing next to us on our big day, testaments of a relationship that had God’s hand guiding us. All the pieces of our relationship seemed to be falling into place perfectly and I have God, family, and our amazing friendships to thank.

The beginning was a beautiful and exciting part of our story. Once Ansley and I started dating on 12/17/2022, we quickly fell in Love and have already gone on so many adventures together. I’ve prayed over this relationship from the start and it always put me at ease knowing the big guy upstairs supports us and brought us together. I’ve fallen in Love with Ansley and her values, as well as her kindness, the way she treats people, the way she laughs and how she smiles, and much much more. I know we can do anything together as long as we have our faith, for God is the foundation of our relationship.

Ansley and I have lots of plans for life and there’s no one else I’d rather spend the rest of my life with. Ansley, I love you and thank God for you every day. No matter what life throws at us I know we will be ok as long as we have each other. Awooga ❤️
