As the day draws near, we wanted to share some information about a few of the things we are planning for the week of our wedding!

One quick thing to note is that there are limited grocery options in the Red River Gorge area. There are a few gas stations, camp stores and restaurants, but it would be wise to bring a cooler with your essentials just in case! There is a Kroger in Stanton that is the closest genuine grocery store (as far as we are aware) and it is about 25 minutes away from the venue. Here's the address to that Kroger location:

On Wednesday, Oct. 23rd:

For those of you that will be in the area on Wednesday, October 23rd, we will be meeting for dinner at Miguel's Pizza before heading over to Mark & Lisa's cabin (Greg's parents) to hang out for the evening. Here are the addresses and important information:

On Thursday, Oct. 24th:

The ceremony will begin @ 4:30pm at the venue, followed by dinner and live music!

On Friday, Oct. 25th:

We are planning a couple of activities of Friday for those that would like to join. First, we will be meeting at the trailhead for Courthouse Rock at 10:00am. We will start the hike at 10:30. Type the following coordinates in your GPS to get to the correct trailhead:

You should also be able to type in Courthouse Rock, Red River Gorge into Google Maps to get there. This will be roughly a four mile hike, so plan accordingly! It isn't super hard, but there are a few challenging spots. The view at the end makes it all worth it!

At 2pm, we are going to meet at the Gorge Underground for a boat tour or kayaking. Keep in mind that you have to register yourself ahead of time for this, as they don't do group reservations without an exact head count, name, and signed waiver, which has been difficult to obtain. We likely all won't be able to go at the same time, but if each person signs up ahead of time for a time slot between 2pm and 3pm, we will all be there at the same time! It gets cold in the caves, so bring a sweatshirt and maybe wear pants! Here is the info for RRG Underground:
