Taylor and Greg met one another through mutual friends and slowly began the process that two generally introverted people must go through to begin a friendship. Hanging out in group settings began to reveal how much they had in common with one another and a genuine connection started to form.
Greg knew what he wanted by this point and began to formulate a plan to both break away from the group and answer the most important question at the same time: Will the dogs get along?
After doing his best to communicate with his dog how important it was that she get along with Taylor’s two dogs, Greg commenced his plan to win over Taylor under the guise of a doggy playdate. The dogs got along wonderfully, and Taylor and Greg soon became inseparable.
Sometimes the most important moments in life happen without warning and when they are least expected. Taylor and Greg had each been on their own journeys of healing before meeting one another, and suddenly one playdate for the dogs became overnight stays, which turned into hiking trips and vacations and officially living together.
It became clear pretty quickly that this relationship was the one. A ring was purchased, and in a style fitting to both personalities, Greg and Taylor got engaged on a quiet night at home. Plans for a wedding started to come together, and it only seemed fitting to hold a wedding in one of their favorite places to getaway- Red River Gorge.
