It was love at first beer. On our first date we went to University of Beer in Davis and bonded over our mutual love of the craft. We continued the evening talking for hours about life and beer and everything in between. We played board games at a brewery and discovered a relentless competitive streak in both of us that continues on to this day. We won’t name names but we both know who wins more.

While we come from very different upbringings and states we’ve found that it is our differences that make us better together. We push ourselves to see life through the eyes of the other and to expand our perception of the world. Above all though, it has been our love for God that truly binds us together. One of our favorite things to do together is serve the wonderful people of Bennett Hill through Adopt A Block. Watching the one you love serve, shinning with the heart of God is an amazing thing. We are very excited at the prospect of serving on our first mission trip together and to see all that God will do in our lives. We are both lucky to have found each other and can’t wait to share with all of you the joy of our wedding day!
