We met in August of '23 as all good Millenial couples do, on the internet. We quickly hit it off and agreed to meet in person for a quick coffeehouse date. That date turned into several hours and a sunburn later discussing everything under the sun (literally). We planned our second date immediately following our first at an escape room in order to test how we work together under pressure. We managed to escape the room but certainly did not escape each other considering we had our third date planned before we said goodbye.

So naturally, after two months it was time to take a vacation and REALLY try out our compatibility. Off we went that November to Gatlinburg to really test our relationship, and we both managed to not push each other off the trail in the Smokey Mountain National Park (Up hill both ways, if Aubri remembers it correctly). It was this trip that made us realize we didn't want the fun to end. Luckily for us we are both pretty decisive and decided that the future looked a lot brighter if we kept each other in our lives.

Fast forward four months, a slippery slide down a driveway, (literally Greg and his car fell for Aubri, HA!), and a pretty nasty car crash in March; we became an engaged couple. Greg planned to pop the question at the family cottage in Hartland, which had been in Aubri's family's history since her great granparents immigrated from Germany. The resounding happiness was very quickly cut short by our dog Kodiak throwing up loudly in the background. We still aren't sure if this was was in protest of the engagement or the amount of grass he was eating. Nevertheless!

Fast foward one more month; we have now crashed a car, popped a question, and bought a newish car. What's left but to look at a mortgage? April 1st found us moving into our new house in Hamburg (no fooling, we actually did!). Who says happily ever after can't get rolling in less than a year?

Now on to the present day, where we hope you will share your presence with us and join in on the festivities on May 17th! Make sure to get those RSVPs in by April 1st, and we aren't fooling! (Aubri couldn't help herself on that one)
