December 1, 2022, actor Greg Tally reported to set on James Balsamo’s Dead Mail. Among the various cast and crew members, he met this really cool sound engineer and director named Halle Capone. She was pleasant and nice, very cute if somewhat reserved. During the course of the shoot, we’d drift over to each other between takes and chit chat. It was very professional and slightly sweet. December 14, after a premiere, the Balsamo Bunch ate breakfast together on our way up to Frazier Park to film with Tag the Kodiak Bear. Halle was nervous as hell, and well, Greg's no dummy. He hopped in her car and we chatted for two hours up and two hours back from the shoot. We went about our lives, seeing other people and doing other things, until Greg asked Halle out in early March. Sparks flew, right from the beginning. Passion and soon love were quick to follow. April 2, Greg's fiftieth birthday party, we came out publicly to our friends. Mid May, Greg popped the question at Festival du Cannes. Halle unhesitatingly said yes.

Since then, we have loved each other reciprocally and intensely. We are each other's tireless advocates, lovers, best friends. We share endless hours of laughter, storytelling, creativity, compassion, companionship, and goofy improv, “yes, and”-ing through endless twisted humor scenarios. We are both silly, hilarious, sweet, kind, soft when we want to be, tough when we have to be. We can’t wait to fill the rest of these days with each other. We're both happy and blessed.
