Wedding Party
We got married in a tiny ceremony on January 3rd, 2024 in the gazebo at Rollins Park. June 30th is Part II of our wedding, and we would love if you would join us for a celebration as we exchange rings. We are renting a tent, tables, chairs, and all the necessities for the occasion. We are delighted to have Batulo’s Kitchen cater their delicious Somali-inspired food for our event.
Is this a kid-friendly event?
Yes, absolutely! In fact, there is a playground!
What do I need to know about parking?
There’s street parking next to the field where our tent will be. There’s also a parking lot accessible from the 33 Bow St entrance, but the distance to walk from your vehicle will be further.
Will there be alcohol served?
No, this is a dry event. The city of Concord does not allow alcohol at their parks.
Will there be food?
Of course! We have hired Batulo’s Kitchen to prepare their Somali-inspired food. There are multiple options available. Everyone will be able to enjoy veggie sambusas, which are fried pockets of seasoned beans and veggies. Seasoned rice and vegetables will be available, as well as your choice of chopped steak, chicken, or goat meat. Beverages include seltzer and soft drinks. Dessert will be served.
What if it rains?
We will have a tent!
When should I RSVP!
As soon as possible so that we can plan on enjoying your company!
I am a professional croquet and badminton player. Will I have an opportunity to show off my skills?
Yes, absolutely! We will have plenty of space for games.
