I met Greta 30 years ago when I walked into the empty bedroom next to mine and found that a tiny newborn had been born while I'd slept! I instantly loved her, and being 7.5 years older than her, had way too much fun pretending she was my own baby! As adults we have definitely become great friends and mutually supported and encouraged each other through life's changes. I couldn't ask for a better sister and I'm continually thankful for Greta and my relationship. Fast forward to four years ago when Greta brought Ryan to my annual CA wine-tasting birthday tour. I immediately liked Ryan and felt like he was another brother in the family of three other brothers! His adventurousness and love of the outdoors was a perfect match for my sister and I was thrilled for them when they embraced the dream to move to the Big Sky state. I look forward to witnessing this next chapter for them in life and love.

Ben and Ryan worked together in Seattle. The real life odd couple if you will. They both grew up in the small town of Port Townsend but never met till they were living in Seattle. Probably due to the polar opposite life styles. Ben the free-spirited artistic earth loving hippy and as many of you know Ryan the analytical, cowboy boot wearing, Merle Haggard listening hick. When the compost hit the fan with the economy in 2007 and everyone around them started to unravel they found a mutual respect for the other staying true to who they were as humans. There have been many late nights after a drink or two contemplating life's mysteries.

I met Aunt Greta the day I was born. I met Uncle Ryan right before I turned 3. I am happy they are getting married. I'm excited about being a flower girl!

Ryan and Eric became friends in a neighborhood bar over a mutual appreciation for manly subjects such as cars, guns and beautiful women. Ryan being the naive small town kid needed guidance in the big city and Eric was kind enough to take Ryan under his wing. It didn't take long till these two were getting into all sorts of shinanigans all over Seattle.

Out of all the groomsmen Jeremy has known Ryan the longest. From swim lessons to little league foot ball to their frst unchaperoned trip to Arizona. They have no other choice but to continue their friendship being that Jeremy's brother married Ryan's sister.

Hi I am Brenda Bartholow! I've known Greta since the fall of 2005, when we were randomly placed together as roommates at the University of Washington. Greta and I hit it off immediately and have been great friends ever since. I was thrilled when Greta met Ryan at the Little Red Hen (one of our favorite hangouts at the time). I immediately liked Ryan, and now he feels like a brother to me. My husband and I have been very luck to make a lot of memories with Greta and Ryan. We like to hike, ski, and simply sit around drinking beer while catching up. We cannot wait to be part of their wedding and stir up some trouble in Montana this summer!

Ryan met Danny in Whitefishs local Great Northern Bar. Danny and Christina were having one of their rare arguments and they needed a mediator. Ryan was the chosen one! That one gesture led to all sorts of Montana adventures and misadventures alike that show no signs of slowing down. They were the start of the Montana family!

25 years ago I met miss Greta. Writing it down and seeing the number 25 is truly unreal to me. We were next door neighbors in Covington, Washington. A little dead end street in the middle of the forest. A lot has changed in that small town named Covington, expansion of neighborhoods and business's alike. But there is one thing that came out of that little neighborhood that has still stayed true to this day, the friendship Greta and I have maintained through out all those years. We know that at any given moment we can give each other a call and pick up right where we left off. A friendship I will cherish always. I'm so excited for Greta's new journey with Ryan. I met Ryan 37 years ago when I became a big sister. I am Ryan's older and only sibling. We grew up together moving from Eastern to Western Washingtin where we spent most of our childhood. I was 4 years older than Ryan so he was the annoying little brother until I got older and realized how lucky I am to have such a guy as a little brother. Ryan introduced us to Greta 4 years ago when he brought her home for the first time. I instantly knew that Greta was the perfect match for Ryan. Their love for skiing and desire to live in Montana has proven them to be the perfect pair! I am over the moon to gain an amazing sister this summer!!

Jake met Greta the day she was born... and then instantly went out to the family swing set to cry. He later realized how awesome she was and how fun it would be to torture a little sister the rest of his life! Their childhood was filled with goonies style booby traps, tree forts, go kart rides and eventually becoming great friends in high school. Jake was introduced to Ryan not long after Greta and Ryan started dating. He has since put his stamp of approval on their relationship and treats Ryan like a brother... that is if they were 7 years old still

Isaac was destined to be a good kid until the day his parents let him spend the weekend with his Uncle Ryan in Seattle. This led to drinking spicy soda at the Boxcar bar and picking up chicks! Uncle Ryan also might have thought Taco Time was a nutritious breakfast.

I met Aunt Greta on my birth day. The first time I met Ryan was 4 years ago and I liked him. But when it was time for them to fly home, I figured I wouldn't see him again because Greta would have a different boyfriend by the next visit! I'm glad he is now going to be my uncle! I'm excited to be in their wedding because I like weddings and I like Aunt Greta and Uncle Ryan both a lot!

Hello! My name is Casie Greve, and I am sister-in-law to Greta, and have enjoyed becoming a part of the Greve family. I've shared in making fond memories of holidays at Greta and Ryan's place in Montana, and many a festive Forth of July at the Greve family beach property in Mutiny Bay. I teach middle-school ELA, and live on Whidbey Island, WA. Fun facts about me are that I love to knit and my favorite movie series is STAR WARS.
