Our story begins back in June 2016. Through working together at the Brisbane Lions, Greta became friends with Linsey Norris and her Hervey Bay circle, hanging out regularly. Despite being friends with this group for several years, Leon and Greta had never crossed paths before ... until Jackson's (groomsmen) birthday party at the Sunshine Coast in 2016.

On a rainy afternoon, Leon struck up conversation with a severely hungover Greta who was too ill even, for an espresso martini. Despite a less than sparkling conversation and unfashionably early smokebomb by Greta - the two hit it off, evolving to Facebook friends before starting to drive the 4hr+ cartrips between Hervey Bay and Brisbane to visit each other.

The following 8 years saw Leon and Greta move into their first rental in Bulimba (home to many a party), survive COVID together, travel to Bali several times, both change jobs, and move to their current home in Tallebudgera on the Gold Coast.

In 2022, despite a flood ruining plans for a proposal at Fraser Island - Leon proposed to Greta on the beach at the Sunshine Coast (where the story began) ... which brings us to our next big milestone in July 2025 - where we'll gather together again on the beach to celebrate the next chapter with all our loved ones!
