On our first date Josh suggested we meet up at a local brewery and order pizza from Iron Born. Despite Gretchen hating beer, she agreed and the rest as they say is history. We have made it a tradition to go to Iron Born for every dating anniversary (2 and counting)!

Together we enjoy experiencing all Pittsburgh has to offer. Our favorite things to do in Pittsburgh are trying the many, many pizza places and duck pin bowling. While not "avid" campers, we are not afraid to sleep in a tent! We've kayaked in a myriad of places and hope to continue adding to the list. We also have a passion for traveling the globe together and have been able to visit: Niagara Falls, Toronto, Honduras, New Orleans, Iceland, New York City, and Florida. Our next adventure will be our honeymoon to the Bahamas.

One of the biggest things that makes our relationship stand apart, is our love of Christ and commitment to furthering our relationship with Him not only as individuals but as a couple. We go to different churches but make time to attend the other's routinely. We also are slowly making our way through the Bible (cover to cover).

We are looking forward to starting the next chapter in our life together as a married couple and are excited for whatever blessings the Lord will provide in our future.
