Gretta and Jake kindled their love over 10 years ago in the small town of DeWitt, Michigan. They continued their journey with 4 amazing years together at Michigan State University, in the College of Nursing. So many of their lifelong friends were present to witness the blossoming of their love story during this time. From the numerous football tailgates, the late night Los Tres Amigos visits, the weekly trips to Tasty Twist, and the all-nighters at the MSU Library, they became inseparable. They adopted their first fur baby, Lilo, who many of you know and love, during their time at Michigan State, which put their parenting skills to the test. After graduation, they took on the venture of moving across the country to Texas, which they've since fallen completely in love with. Since being in Texas, this couple has conquered 8 moves, bought 2 houses, started 4 new jobs, adopted 3 more beautiful fur babies (Lola, Bentley, & Zoey), and met countless forever friends. On their 10 year dating anniversary, June 1st, 2024, Jake took Gretta on a romantic surprise vacation to Austin, TX where he popped the question, and the answer was obvious... YES!!! Jake and Gretta are beyond excited to be spending this highly anticipated day with all of their closest family and friends. Let's FINALLY get these two married!!!
