While we won’t know for a while exactly which weather conditions to expect, Decembers in the Dallas area are typically fairly mild. The average high temperature forecast for December 21st in McKinney is 50 to 60 °F and the average low temperature forecast is 30 to 40 °F.

A black-tie optional dress code gives guests a couple of formal options to choose from. Men traditionally opt for a dark suit or a tuxedo. Ultimately, we want our guests to feel comfortable, confident, and happy with what they wear— but request that you meet the more formal/wintery vibe of the event if possible.

If you’re looking for a place to continue the party after the reception, Downtown McKinney has several great bars and restaurants but we like “The Pub” on Virginia St, “The Stix Icehouse” on Eldorado, or “The Yard” on Church St for the best beer and live music. All listed bars close at 12am on Friday and Saturday nights.
