It all started in the small town of Paris, Tennessee — not the one with the real Eiffel Tower, but it still brought us love. I was in the physician assistant program, navigating textbooks, caffeine, and clinicals while he worked as a practicing PA. Little did we know, our friends had a different kind of study session in mind: matchmaking.

Through their scheming (thank you, you sneaky cupids), we were set up — and from the very first conversation, something just clicked. It wasn’t dramatic or over-the-top… just simple, natural, and full of laughter. We hit it off immediately.

The early days weren’t easy. We did long distance for a year — a whole year of nightly phone calls, talking for hours like two teenagers with unlimited minutes. In those conversations, we found comfort, connection, and the beginning of a love that felt like home. We learned each other by heart before we ever shared a zip code.

And when we finally did... well, we didn't wait around. We were so ready for the next chapter that we skipped the planning, the stress, the countdown — and eloped!!!

Now, we share a home together in Paris, TN, a town that gave us each other. No more phone calls across the miles — just coffee together in the mornings, and shared laughter (and snacks) at night. It’s the little things that feel like everything.

We are endlessly grateful for the way God has written our story. He brought us this far — through school, distance, and all the beautifully messy moments in between — we know the best is yet to come.
