After years of "meeting" each other through Brian's Aunt and Wendy's friend, the first time Wendy got her eyes on Brian, was at a house party (one of many). When Wendy saw Brian walking into the party, he was carrying Riley (his newborn daughter) in a car seat and Wendy wanted to know who he was. She found out Brian was in pharmacy school. Since then, Wendy would claim Brian before he had any idea. Little did he know, Brian was "Wendy's pharmacist".

Years passed by and the stars aligned, Brian and Wendy were both single. On a girl's night out, after several bottles of wine, Wendy went to a sip and paint and found out Brian was single. Through Brian's aunt, he found out Wendy was very interested in him. Later that week, Wendy got a text message from Brian. They went on a date that Friday night to Naperville and per usual, Wendy had too many drinks and spilled her entire drink on Brian. Although his white shirt was ruined, Brian didn't want the night to end so they bar hopped all night.

It only took nine months for Brian to finally ask her out to be his "official" girlfriend. Two years later, Brian asked Wendy to start a new life with their two families together. Shortly after living together under the same roof, Brian got down on one knee in Chicago and asked Wendy to marry him. The rest is history!
