Chris and Gwen met in 2016 during their freshman year at Baylor. Although they weren't close friends right away, they had the same Business Calculus professor and decided to study for the final together. In her classic, over-studious fashion, Gwen dragged Chris to Moody Library every day for a week to study. This was the start to their academic friendship.

The next year, Chris and Gwen had many of the same classes. They found themselves spending even more evenings and weekends studying together, enjoying late-night Whataburger or Fuego, and growing a deeper friendship.

Over the final two years of college, Chris and Gwen took turns having feelings for each other but couldn't seem to line up their timing. If you asked any of their friends (or professors), they'd tell you "It's just a matter of time before Chris and Gwen end up together."

The time finally came after a year and a half of living in Dallas and working at KPMG together. By this time, Chris and Gwen had become best friends, and studying had nothing to do with it. They walked to work together, trained for the Dallas half marathon together, and had countless movie nights, all under the guise of friendship. Until March 2023, when Chris finally admitted he had feelings for Gwen.

A year and a half later, Chris proposed to Gwen at the Washington National Cathedral. The two are excited to start their married life together, and are grateful for everyone that has been a part of their journey.
