Hi there and welcome! We can't wait to share our special day with you and celebrate our love that has come to be! But first- a little background. Who really are the Bride and Groom ?

Alexia Renae (AKA - Lexi)

Lexi grew up in the small town of Lottsville, Pennsylvania with her mother, father, and younger sister. She attended Eisenhower Middle High School where she was involved in many clubs and sports throughout her career but spent most of her time focusing on Volleyball. After high school, she enrolled at IUP meeting some of her best friends and spending a lot of time engaged in Greek life events as a member of Alpha Xi Delta. She graduated from IUP in 2017 with a Bachelor's of Science in Nutrition and dietetics and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. At that time, she decided she just wasn't done with education and enrolled at a Pittsburgh branch of IUP for a Master's in Clinical Counseling. Lexi is currently practicing as a mental health therapist in the city of Pittsburgh. She loves what she does (most days) and enjoys quiet evenings watching her favorite show (bonus points to those of you who know what that is), cooking, snuggling her pups, and definitely NOT doing the dishes. On the weekends you can find her trying out a new recipe, spending time with friends, walking the dogs, and exploring the night life that the city has to offer with her soon-to-be hubby!

Haden Jeffrey (AKA - DJ Hollywood)

Haden spent the first half of his childhood years living at the lake with his mom, dad, brother, and sister. As a kid, he loved spending time playing games at the community pool, running around the neighborhood with friends, and playing sports (literally anything - he was and still is very competitive). Haden and his family moved to Bedford, PA when he was in 5th grade and he immediately started making friends. Haden and his family experienced some bumpy roads when he was diagnosed with CF at the age of 5, but by the grace of God and a majestic miracle, he was cleared of the diagnosis in 2013 and remains healthy to this day! Throughout his duration at Bedford High School, Haden thrived as a wide receiver for their football team, starter for the men's basketball team, and even participated in track and field in the spring. After graduating, Haden enrolled at Pittsburgh Technical College for HVAC meeting some of his best friends. Haden dabbled in multimedia for a time, acquiring the title of DJ Hollywood, but he can tell you more about that! He moved back to Bedford when finishing school, purchasing his first home and working his butt off in the cable construction industry. In 2020 he moved back to Pittsburgh for a career opportunity and to spend more time with his siblings that lived in the city. Haden is currently working in the field as a cable lineman and enjoys time spent by the pool, hanging out with friends, visiting the beach, and of course spending time with his soon to be wife.

Haden and Lexi were introduced in 2013(ish) by the "Bedford Crew" - aka Lexi's roommates and friends that were enrolled at IUP - and had an established friendship with Haden from high school. They would bump into each other at parties and social events here and there when Haden visited IUP or Lexi visited Bedford, but little did they know it would lead to a romance.

After graduation, Lexi moved to Pittsburgh to enroll in graduate school, and 3 short years later in the midst of a global pandemic, Haden also moved to Pittsburgh. It was then that their friendship really started to flourish. Haden and Lexi re-established friendship during their first annual OBX friend vacation, enjoying one another's company amongst mutual friends and one-on-one during beach walks in the evening. Following the trip, the two quickly became close and would go on hikes with their dogs (and bff Cari), boat up and down the Ohio River, explore craft beers and red wines, and go out on the town when things went back to somewhat normal. Haden quickly learned of Lexi's love of Halloween at the friend group's annual Halloween bash in 2020, quickly committing to costume ideas for the group photos. In August of 2021, their friendship became closer on the second OBX friend vacation and quickly turned into romance when they returned to the city.

And so the love story begins...

Haden and Lexi returned from the second OBX beach vacation and were in constant contact. Texting, sending memes back and forth on social media, and calling each other (his choice- she hates talking on the phone). Their first date was an evening on the boat and having appetizers at a boat up bar on Nevels Island in Pittsburgh. This is when Haden found out that Lexi is secretly a shark at playing darts, and he had a very hard time losing to her not once, but twice, on their first date.

Haden continued to be a gentleman and take Lexi on boating adventures, dinner dates to his favorite local spots, and learned to cook and drink red wine before he asked her to be his girlfriend the night of his NFL fantasy league draft - on September 7th, 2021. He knew if she could hang around and be supportive during this high stress time, she was a keeper.

Haden was the first to say "I love you" at a rooftop bar in Nashville, TN. Lexi got jealous that he was talking to another girl and wanted to tell him she loved him while in the car on the way to Nashville, but her stubbornness and determination to not say it first got in the way. Turns out he felt the same way and needed the liquid courage and a little Tennessee rain on a rooftop bar to say those 3 little words (which were immediately reciprocated).

Haden and Lexi continued to explore the city together, and experienced a few moves during their time dating, handling each with grace before buying their home in the North Hills of Pittsburgh in July of 2022. Lexi still had her apartment at the time, but when discussing moving in together took a leap of faith and never looked back. Haden's dog, Rico, adapted to Lexi's velociraptor, Quinn, with time and now cohabitate very well- almost like they love each other or something? (We often find them snuggling on the couch and laying close to each other when they think we aren't paying attention.) Roles have quickly reversed, as Haden has become the preferred human for Quinn, and Rico has become a momma's boy.

After 10 months of living together and waking up side by side, Haden decided to get out of the dating game for good and take the relationship to the next level.

On April 8th, 2023, Haden made sneaky arrangements and plans to make Lexi the happiest person in the world. He started the cold brisk morning, encouraging Lexi to go on a hike before her parents got to town for Easter weekend. Lexi was relentless in trying to get a good workout in, while Haden was scouring the property at Hartwood Acre Mansion for the photographer he had never met. Haden strayed from Lexi, trying to get her to follow him (even though she was on a mission to get the hike done so they could be on a good timeline for later that day) when he led her to a courtyard on the East side of the mansion, got down on one knee, and forgot the speech he had prepared. Haden asked Lexi to spend the rest of his life with him, and she of course said yes, dropped to her knees, and kissed him.

From there, a small photo shoot was done before returning home and gawking at the new ring on her finger before getting ready for a lunch date with her parents for the holiday weekend. Unbeknownst to her, her sister and future brother-in-law surprised her at the house for the holiday weekend and engagement. Haden, Lexi, Sam, and Ryan ventured out to what Lexi thought was a celebratory lunch with her parents, but another surprise was right around the corner.

Haden set up a surprise engagement party at a local bar, with all of their friends and family to celebrate the new engagement. Lexi was overjoyed with the feeling of love and support from all of the people she and Haden adore. What she thought was going to be a casual holiday weekend turned out to be a weekend full of surprises that she would never forget, and would cherish forever!
