we started talking when we went to prom together in our junior year! we went as friends but ended up talking all the time after. we would find pretty much any excuse to be around each other

we continued talking more and more throughout the fall of our senior year. cooper escorted hadley for homecoming court and hadley attended pretty much every one of cooper's football games

we started dating on November 6, 2021 - a date that has been so special to us for almost 4 years! our first date was a coffee date with a picnic in snowden grove after! this picture is of the winter formal a little over a month after we started dating!

we continued dating all throughout our senior year. there were countless basketball and soccer games, a trip to Jamaica to serve on a mission trip together, and countless dates as we got to know each other even more and fell in love!

we celebrated the end of the year with grad parties and graduation knowing that soon we were going to have to be long distance! hadley was planning on attending samford university in birmingham, al, and cooper was going to go to MSU!

we spent the summer after senior year working together at a summer camp! this was such a blessing and such a fun way to spend time together before college!

we started our freshmen years at different schools, but we often made the 2 hour drive to see each other. long distance was definitely not easy, but we made it work!

we spent the summer after freshmen year serving as interns at Getwell Church! this was such a rewarding summer as we both got to pour into students and spend more time together

sophomore + junior year passed with many weekend visits, facetime calls, anniversaries, and birthday celebrations

and of course many MSU games...

and step sing performances!

we took a couple trips in the meantime! we got to go to west virginia with cooper's family and colorado with hadley's family!

cooper proposed on June 14, 2025. the day was absolutely beautiful and perfect, intricately and perfectly planned by coop. i think we can both agree that this was one of our favorite days ever :)

now, we are still long distance (sadly) but have loved getting to plan our wedding and be FIANCES! we are so thankful for everyone who has played a part in our relationship, and we cannot wait to celebrate our big day with everyone! see you guys June 27th!!!!
