Hafsa grew up in Sri Lanka and migrated to BC with her parents and brother in 2010. She completed her BSc. in Environmental Science from Simon Fraser University and then worked at the City of Chilliwack and now at the Fraser Valley Regional District as an Environmental Services Tech.

Ryan grew up in Surrey and has a Bachelors in Engineering and Business from Simon Fraser University. Ryan now works as a project manager at BC Hydro. Growing up in Surrey, Ryan is no stranger to Hafsa's culture and cuisine which made things a little easier for us as couple.

Despite attending the same university, we didn't meet on campus. Like many young people these days, we met on a dating app (not Tinder :P) in December 2016. We instantly bonded over our love for cats, Disney, spicy food and the outdoors.

We both enjoy travelling, spending time in nature and with family. Over the years we have been together, we have literally and figuratively climbed mountains. We are wholeheartedly ready to take on this new chapter in our lives knowing that we have a strong foundation and a support system in place for when we need it.

We are pleased to have you all celebrate not just our wedding day, but the rest of our lives.
