We met at International House in New York City about 7 years ago. I-House (as the cool kids call it) was this awesome co-living spot for people from all over the world to hang out, share stories, and basically just get to know each other. We ended up living across the hall from each other, which was a lucky twist of fate.

We hit it off as friends right away. We would go out exploring the city together, drinking chai in the I-House lounge and spending hours with friends in the dining hall. With COVID around, our friendship stayed strong, supporting each other through the weirdness of lockdowns and everything else that came with it.

After about five years of being very good friends, we began to see each other in a new light. It was kind of unexpected but felt right. We figured, why not give dating a shot?

Transitioning from friends to a couple was surprisingly smooth. We already knew each other so well, so it just felt natural. Looking back, we both realized how special our time at I-House was. It wasn't just a place to live; it was where we met and became best friends, which eventually led to something very special!

We love blending our cultures, trying out new things, and just being there for each other. It's a simple, real kind of love story that started in the most unexpected of places.
