WHAT IS A WALIMA?
A traditional wedding feast hosted by the groom in Islamic weddings. It marks the public celebration of marriage, symbolizing joy, gratitude, and the start of a new life together in accordance with the sunnah. The first Walima in Islamic history was hosted by the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) himself to celebrate his marriage to Zaynab (RA), marked by a simple but generous meal for his companions.

WHAT IS THE DRESS CODE?
We kindly request traditional attire/black tie for all events. For men, traditional shalwar kameez or suits are welcome. For women, shalwar kameez, lenghas, traditional attire or modest dresses are ideal.
CAN WE BRING A GIFT FOR THE COUPLE?
If you wish to bless us further, a contribution towards our new beginning would be deeply appreciated. We kindly request no boxed gifts.
WHAT MEALS WILL BE SERVED?
Delicious halal cuisine will be served at all events, including vegetarian and non-vegetarian options.
