Winery Tours

Winery tours begin in our piazza. You walk by vineyards and our pavilion on your way to the winery crush pad where the making of wine begins. You will learn about our winemaking process including testing, destemming, pressing, fermentation, aging, blending, and bottling.

Village Edge Farms has passionately farmed the land just below the picturesque backdrop of the Mississippi River bluffs. Today that same passion goes into making our products here at Township 23 Distillery- A ‘field to glass’ distillery, where spirits are produced from the organic crops grown right on the homestead.

Located on the Wisconsin Great River Road, stop by local favorite for fresh food, ice-cold drinks and live weekend entertainment. Try their juicy burgers, hand-prepared entrees, and, of course, their famous fried pickles! When the weather’s just right, enjoy your meal on the balcony overlooking Lake Pepin!

The founders of the Nelson Cheese Factory made cheese for over 100 years. While they no longer make cheese, the offerings have been expanded to include cheese from Wisconsin and around the world as well as fine wines and a gourmet selection of food. Their ice cream cones are a favorite with all visitors and their selection of sandwiches, soups and salads are fresh and delicious.

They are the area’s premier outdoor shopping venue. They feature fresh produce, award winning meats, Wisconsin cheese, made from scratch fudge and locally made jams, jellies and pickles. While you are here visit their gift shops and antique barn.
