Brian and Hailee’s love story began during their senior year of high school in the early hours of 1st period English class. Picture a morning person and a not-so-morning person seated together at 7 AM. Despite their differences, they complemented each other perfectly. As the year unfolded, Brian and Hailee blossomed into best friends, even amidst the moments when Brian’s quirks got under Hailee’s skin.

After graduation, Brian pursued a career in the Navy while Hailee ventured off to college in a different direction. Although their contact dwindled, their friendship endured. Then, in the summer of 2022, they reconnected over dinners, discovering a newfound spark between them.

Hailee’s certainty that Brian was the one solidified when he returned to Virginia Beach, where he was stationed, and she found herself ready to uproot her life to be closer to him. Meanwhile, Brian’s thoughts turned towards marriage as Hailee made plans to visit and eventually relocate to be with him. Now, they reside in Virginia Beach together, accompanied by their beloved fur baby, Tux.

Brian’s conviction to propose grew stronger as they embarked on the journey of homeownership together. He carefully stowed an engagement ring in his truck, awaiting the perfect moment to pop the question on her late grandfathers birthday, November 18th.

And as we all know... She said yes.
