We are so excited to have all our favorite people gathered in Montana!

Montana is a very popular place to visit in the summer. We highly suggest booking a hotel, Airbnb, lodge, etc. ASAP! Hotels in Belgrade and Bozeman will most likely be available if you have to book last minute, but Airbnbs and places to stay close to the wedding venue may book up quickly. We have a room block at the <a href="https://www.bestwestern.com/en_US/book/hotel-rooms.27064.html?groupId=M21NS0W3" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Best Western Plus GranTree</a> in Bozeman. We will have a shuttle from the Best Western Plus GranTree Bozeman to the venue and back after the reception. The Shuttle will depart the Best Western at 3:45PM. It will arrive to begin loading at 3:30. Two trips will depart from Gateway after the wedding.Shuttle 1: 11PM from the Olsen propertyShuttle 2: 1AM from Stacey's Bar Gallatin Gateway is 30 minutes away from accommodations in Belgrade and Bozeman. Ubers do come out to Gallatin Gateway, but we recommend scheduling them in advance. If you are staying in Bozeman but not at the shuttle location hotel, we recommend taking the shuttle and Ubering from there. You can get Ubers easily around Bozeman. There is plenty of parking if you are staying close to the venue or have a DD. For anyone interested in camping out the night of the wedding, there will be an area reserved for tents and campers. Our first date was a beautiful Friday afternoon, the start of 4th of July weekend, 2022 at Bridger Golf Course in Bozeman. Jeremy must have been impressed by my Golf skills because he agreed to go have drinks downtown afterwords. Jeremy had me laughing the whole night and we ended up getting together one day later at the 4th of July rodeo in Ennis and then spent all of the next day on Harrison Lake. Hailee created the biggest knot Jeremy has ever seen out of the fishing line and the laughing never stopped. Over the past three years (will be four, two days before the wedding!), we continued to go on amazing adventures including trips to Florida, Costa Rica, Colombia, Iowa, Colorado, countless ski weekends, and rafting and camping trips. We were meant to be together. The Engagement:The weekend Jeremy proposed started as just another adventure. Jeremy surprised me with a ski weekend for my birthday gift. We were going to Maverick (a tiny ski hill near Dillon, MT). Friday night we went to Jackson Hot Springs and we were talking about our future (I was probably pestering him about when he was going to propose) and he said something that made me think he didn't even have a ring. Going into the weekend, there may have been a hope in my mind that Jer was going to pop the question, but after that comment I had accepted that it wasn't going to happen this weekend. The next day was a bluebird 55º day. We filled our pockets with beverages and hit the mountain. We had skiied four or five runs when the sun was at its peak and we decided it was time to ski to the truck to shed some layers. Off the chairlift Jeremy took off out of site. As I moseyed down the run I came around the corner and saw Jeremy down. The first thing I thought was, "shit, if Jeremy is hurt that's really going to ruin our Columbia trip." I skiied over to him and he got down on a knee with the prettiest ring I've ever seen and said, "I want to marry you." Somehow he had concealed a giant ring box and a mini bottle of champagne to pop on the mountain. I could not stop smiling the rest of the weekend. We celebrated with a steak dinner in Dillon, breakfast with my grandparents, and then an amazing surprise engagement party planned by Jeremy and my mom. I still can't stop smiling when I think of that weekend and how lucky I am to get to spend the rest of my life with Jeremy!!

What is the easiest way to get to and from your wedding location?

This depends on where you are staying... Gallatin Gateway or Belgrade: You can drive or uber. I'd recommend scheduling your uber so you can be sure there is one available.&nbsp; Bozeman: Drive or take the shuttle from the Grantree Inn. You can easily get Ubers around Bozeman so either drive or uber to the shuttle location.&nbsp;

Q + A

It is important to note that Gallatin County and surrounding areas have so many awesome things to do but it takes a while to get everywhere. I'd recommend mapping your destinations before you make plans to do multiple things in one day.

Hiking Trails

Bear spray is recommended on most hiking trails; however, all of these trails are pretty popular with a lot of foot traffic.

Lava Lake trail is about a three-mile hike that gains over 500 ft a mile. Hikers should plan on an hour and a half to two hours or longer to reach the lake. Although the return trip is downhill it’s usually not much faster.

Lava Lake Trailhead

This trail is great if it's hot outside because it is mostly tree covered. The site will say 2-12 miles but it's not a loop so you can turn around at any time. If you are staying close to Gateway, it is a great hike to check out.

South Cottonwood Trailhead

Great area to explore with many different hiking trails. You can drive up to the reservoir and enjoy the views without hiking as well. Palisade Falls is a great hike for little ones or those who don't like hiking but like to explore. It is a 1 mile round trip hike on a paved trail with little elevation gain. History Rock is also an easy hike if you turn around at the rock. It is 2 miles round trip with only 300 feet of elevation gain.

Hyalite Reservoir

This is a pretty challenging hike but the views at the end are awesome. It is 5 miles round trip with 2,300 feet of elevation gain.

Storm Castle Peak Trailhead

This is another challenging hike with amazing views (less challenging than storm castle with better views but harder to get to). It is the tallest peak in the Bridger Range. The road to Fairy Lake Campground can be a little western so if you don't have a vehicle with clearance I'd advise against this hike. This is a four mile round trip hike with 2,000 feet of elevation gain.
