Aundra and I met while working at Texas A&M Kingsville as RA's at Mesquite Village West. We were friends for a year before dating in 2015. Some of our most memorable moments were spent in the office where we worked. We often decorated bulletin boards and during that time we shared many laughs. I have always enjoyed attending Aundra's football games along with family. When we weren't in football season we enjoyed movie dates and more laughs. We have been long distance since Hailee graduated in December 2015. Aundra lives in Pearland as a varsity football (also freshman basketball) coach/history teacher at the new Shadow Creek High School and while I live 30 min away in Lake Jackson working as a Speech Therapy Assistant at Brazosport Rehab and Wellness.

Aundra proposed on my birthday after touring the Dr. Pepper museum, the Texas Sports Museum and finally Magnolia Market (from Fixer Upper). My family attended the whole day and while at our final stop in Magnolia, in the middle of the lawn Aundra's parents showed up, when I turned around Aundra was holding a sign that said "Will you marry me"!!! He had a photographer hidden and everything, he surprised me big time, while everyone including family and friends knew (and kept it a secret), and I cried (the really ugly kid of cry), luckily he later told me to pull it together so I wouldn't look ugly in ALL the pictures.
