As many of you know Blake and Hailey have been best friends for many years. Since middle school they have been a part of each other's lives, and their friendship continued to grow throughout high school. Hailey was even Blake's senior prom date!
In 2010, after their high school graduations, they realized college was upon them and they wouldn't be living just a 10 minute drive apart. Hailey knew she would be staying in Niceville to attend Northwest Florida State College and Blake was moving to Louisiana after acceptance to the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. After Blake moved, both he and Hailey realized how much they missed each other and how much in love they had become. They could no longer stand to be apart.

Blake and Hailey would take turns traveling from Destin to Lafayette every weekend just to be together for a few days. It was so hard being six hours apart, but worth the difficulty as their love continued to grow. As the years went on and their relationship became more serious, Hailey and Blake decided they wanted to live in the same town--being apart was no longer an option. Together, they moved to Tallahassee with the support of each other and their families to continue their education and enjoy college life together. Since then Hailey has graduated from radiologic technology school and Blake is wrapping up his degree in civil engineering.

After six great years together, with so many amazing memories along the way, Blake proposed to Hailey in May 2016 in the beautiful mountains of Mentone, Alabama at the same special cabin they have once visited before. Blake planned and executed the engagement perfectly! Hailey was so surprised!

Hailey and Blake's journey together continues. Recently, they bought a home in the Hammock Bay neighborhood of Freeport, Florida, where they plan to begin their family & continue their careers at the Spine Institute and Wallace Structural Engineering. They have welcomed the joys and challenges of home ownership, and are so excited to have a place of their own (along with Mabel and Porter, their two pups).
