Hailey and Matt’s journey began in June 2020, when a simple walk by Cazenovia Lake turned into the best first date either of them could imagine.

Conversation flowed effortlessly, laughter came naturally, and it felt like they had known each other forever. From that day on, they were inseparable—even when a travel OT placement brought Hailey to Virginia and they tackled a long-distance relationship together.

Hailey seamlessly became a part of Matt’s life with his two children, Matthew and Gianna, filling their days with adventures, sports, and countless cherished memories. In January 2024, Matt pulled off the nearly impossible and surprised Hailey with a proposal, making the start of the new year unforgettable.
