We first met while working in EMS in New Albany, Indiana. At first, we were “just friends,” but somewhere between late-night Taco Bell runs and long shifts together, things started to change. (Fun fact: Ethan once ate my onion-filled burrito just so I wouldn’t get a stomachache… if that’s not love, we don’t know what is!)

Fast forward to August 2022 — only three months into dating — we decided, “Why wait?” and moved into our first apartment. A couple of months later, we adopted our sweet girl Harper, and by the next summer, we brought home our goofy boy Ruger. By August 2023, We had officially upgraded to professional dog parents.

In between settling into life together, we discovered a shared love of traveling. Our first cruise in 2023 had us hooked, so we planned another for the next year. Hurricane season tried to stop us, but on October 2, 2024, we finally made it to the Bahamas. There, on a pier overlooking white sand and turquoise water, Ethan asked me the easiest question I’ve ever answered.

Now we can’t wait to celebrate our “happily ever after” with all of you — surrounded by the family, friends, and Taco Bell runs that brought us here.
