Fate would have it that we would be assigned lockers beside each other in grade 9. Since then we have been best friends, Gerrit was the one who could always push me out of my comfort zone. Gerrit has been by my side for 18 years and had to be by my side as I say I do.

Gerrit introduced me to Marc. His sense of humor and hard work ethic was admirable. My first job was working for Marc’s family farm from picking cherry tomatoes to floating trays seeded for Tobacco. Marc would also join us at the table in Holy Trinity. From there the 4 of us formed an inseparable bond.

Meeting in gym class grade 9 and strengthening the relationship over the ping pong table. Ryan always does things the right way and ignores what other people think. I needed a friend like this in my life and Ryan has been that best friend for over 18 years.
