Our Wedding

One random day in the 2021-2022 academic year, Carter was visiting his brother at his frat house in Philadelphia. Little did he know, Hailey was a student at another local university who frequently attended parties at the same frat house. One late night at a party in the very same frat house in 2021. Carter decided to make a move on Hailey, to which she promptly rejected him. However, years later, Carter had seen Hailey on a sceevy app, which will remain unnamed, and swiped right. Hailey, very nervous about actually meeting someone from the internet, decided that it was worth the risk with him, and swiped right. And after that, the rest was history...

How it all began....

April 11th, 2024. Hailey had spent a long day in class, and had an exam for anatomy lab, and Carter had spent the day working at Walgreens. They had been texting for a few weeks and decided to meet in person. It was a Thursday, so Hailey had reservations about meeting, but Carter, being the true gentleman that he is, offered to drive to her. That said, upon arrival, Carter couldn't park his car, and Hailey needed to parallel park for him. It was at this time that they realized they both drove KIA Souls. Hailey then took Carter for a drive around Philadelphia, showing him the best liquor store and the best cheesesteaks in all of Philly (Leo's for the win). They then went back to Hailey's Apartment and shared a bottle of watermelon wine, eating cheesesteaks on the floor, while watching Shrek. At the end of the night, Hailey had walked Carter to his car, and they shared their first kiss. The streetlights had just come on, and the rain had just started to come down the moment their lips locked. It was fate.

The First Date

On one October night, October 22nd, 2024 to be exact, Hailey and Carter were doing their regular night routine at Carter's parents house. They were sitting at the kitchen table, doing homework and listening to a TV show in the background. Carter suggested that he and Hailey do something special, on this random Tuesday night, and splurge to get one of our favorite foods - steak. Rather than making our own steak, in the spirit of a surprise date night, Carter and Hailey went to Texas Roadhouse. After a fantastic steak dinner, we returned to Carter's parent's house. Carter then said he "forgot something in the car." When he came back to the kitchen table, he said Hailey had left mail in his car. Hailey was confused, not thinking she had left anything behind/ That's when Carter popped the question, and presented Hailey with the most beautiful ring she had ever seen. And, to absolutely no surprise, Hailey said yes.

Engagement

And it wouldn't be Hailey and Carter without mentioning their kitty cat Menache. More commonly known as Menace, Hailey, and Carter adopted her from a very close friend (aka the Best Woman). This little kitty lives up to her troublesome name, and she is at the center of Hailey and Carter's little farm full of loving pets.

Two Families Become One

With the union of Hailey and Carter, their two wonderful families become one. Though different in many ways, their families are full of love, and are now connected through even more love, which many say is the most powerful thing. Love is patient. Love is kind. And love is the catalyst uniting these two families into one forevermore.

Rachel and Hailey met in college when Hailey was Rachel's RA. Through many forced interactions due to Hailey's job, they ended up forming a close personal friendship. Rachel and Hailey truly are two buttcheeks of the same ass (its in inside joke, if you know you know).

Madi and Hailey have been friends since age 4. Madi has been a great friend to both Hailey and Carter, and we are so excited to have her be a part of our special day.

Andrew, Hailey's other college friend, is often the voice of reason, yet also brings the life of the party. Andrew is one of the most amazing people, and both Hailey and Carter are grateful to have him in their lives.

The little sister of the bride and the absolute light of Hailey's life. She certainly brings the attitude and is an integral part to making the day special.

Sierra has been Hailey's best friend/sister since they were 4 years old. Through thick and thin, Sierra and Hailey have always been inseparable, and this continues through Hailey's wedding day.

Carter met Manalasay on his first day as an ESM at Walgreens. Her first joke was about IBS, and they have been friends ever since. They have been through 2 jobs together, and she has watched Carter grow up and move multiple places, yet she as never left his side. She sticks with him through thick and thin and always supports him.

Carter met Kaitlin at a summer softball event when they were 13-14. He never thought they would see each other again, but all these years later, they are still friends. We wouldn't change her for anything!

Carter was Katie's boss from the start. Katie is a really good, honest, and true friend. Carter and Hailey have nothing but respect for her.

Carter met Ndia at Walgreens in 2024 as her ESM, and she made him start looking at the world a little differently. She has an amazing soul, a kind spirit, and is always there for a pep talk and a good hyping when you need it.

Carter met Jessie in 2023 as her ESM, and she was always a wonderful spirit and soul. She is super sweet, kind to others, and I have always wanted to be her friend. She gives off good person vibes and we're grateful to have her here.

JJ is a man of many words and many talents. He has come a long way since he and Carter met in preschool. He has been one of Carter's best friends for over 15 years and this day wouldn't be the same without him. He is a part of the family and a wedding without JJ would be incomplete.

Parents of the Bride

Matthew is Hailey's dad and has always supported her. Somehow, he is always able to give the most excellent advice and a nonjudgmental ear. Hailey is eternally grateful for her father's presence in her life.

Kelli has always been Hailey's rock. She has always given Hailey unconditional love and support, and was a fantastic person to grow up with. Hailey is incredibly thankful for her mom and everything she has done for her.

Cassy has been a part of Hailey's life since she is 14 years old. She has always been there for Hailey and has been a wonderful addition to her life.

Parents of the Groom

Carter's dad has been a big part of his life since he was little. He would take Carter on trips for softball tournaments and was a coach for many years. Sadly, that dream didn't come true, but he coached me through it all. "I love you, Dad, and I appreciate you."

Hotels will NOT be provided by Hailey and Carter

Since most of our family and friends are either local or within a drivable distance, a hotel block was not organized. However, there are many hotels in the surroudning area with varying distances from the venue. Here is a list of Hailey and Carter's favorite locals, but if you find one closer to the venue you want to use, feel free. Things to Do

Registry

11:00 AM - First look of Bride/Groom / Photos

The First Look and Photo Sessions will be private. Only the wedding party, and immediate family will be asked to attend. Please respect this privacy. 

12:00 PM - Ceremony

The ceremony will contain both Jewish and Wiccan Traditions.  This will include both prayers, and physical rituals special to the bride and groom.

1:00 PM - Afterparty Begins

Food and drink will begin to be rolled out. There will be an activity table for the children. There will be a table to leave cards and or any gifts for the bride and groom. There will also be a guest book that we ask all attendees to please sign.

4:30 PM - Anyone under the age of 18 will be asked to leave. 

The bride and groom have many young family members that we love and want to attend our special day. However, we also do not believe in heavy drinking and other activities in front of children. Due to this, aged 18 and under will be asked to leave at 4:30.

7:30 PM - AfterParty Ends

It is at this time that we will ask any remaining guests to depart, as the bride and groom are responsible for the clean-up after the ceremont. Anyone who is willing to stay and help is more than welcome and appreciated.
