Our Wedding

It all began online. We matched and I was ready to get back out there and hopefully find a good guy (& oh boy did I ever!). We met in September 2016,&nbsp; we met up for lunch, our first date, at Daddio's - a burger place. We had a very casual lunch eating messy burgers and French fries. Unfortunately, after the first date I wasn't sure if getting back out there was right for me so I actually didn't talk to Nolen for a couple of weeks.  When he was least expecting it I texted him to see how he was doing, which in turn lead to a second date. After the second date, I picked up my daughter Joey Rae. Together we&nbsp;carved a pumpkin and put Joey Rae in it and&nbsp;she was not amused by this pumpkin, but we got a kick out of it. The third time I saw Nolen he was dressed as Batman for Halloween. As time passed we&nbsp; shared so many memories,  we traveled all over and we have&nbsp;gotten closer to one another, as well as, our families. So far it has been a wonderful journey and We’re  looking forward to a lifetime of many more! 

When it all began...

July 2017 has rolled around & our family vacation is here, but no boyfriends are allowed (family rules!). The week of fun filled, beach bumming, relaxation has arrived and that's exactly what we did! Our very last day mom asked for Joey Rae and I to take sunset pictures together before we left so she could have some good ones of me and Joey Rae at the beach. I thought that was a great idea. 


Poor Nolen had been texting me all day about how busy the work day was on a Friday,  he had to do payroll and then after work he and his family were going to have their own family movie night at 6PM. He said they were going to watch spider man. He kept saying how he couldn't wait for us to get back home so he could see us! I couldn't agree more--I really missed him & I think Joey Rae did too! 


Joey Rae and I got ready and headed down to the beach for sunset pictures. Once we got down there dad told me to look in the sand and that's where I saw two bottles with messages in them. I sat down with the bottles and began to read the messages-- they were from Nolen!  Before I could  even get done reading Nolen walked up behind me and surprised me. I was so excited!! My thoughts were "Yay! My best friend is here! Why is he here on the last day though?! Ohh it doesn't matter-- tonight will be fun!! Everyone,&nbsp;all together on the beach!!" Just as I was thinking that Nolen got down on one knee and asked, "Hailey, will you marry me?"


OF COURSE!! YES!

We're Engaged! 

Time sure does fly when you're having fun! Last month marked our one year anniversary and to celebrate Nolen surprised me with flowers, frozen yogurt (my favorite), pumpkin beer and a phone charger because I had lost mine the day before at Shawn (Nolen's bother) & Tisha's (Nolen's new sister-in-law) wedding. 
A year has gone by since Joey Rae and I met Nolen and our little family circle has been completed. So many fun memories and such a fun life this has turned out to be. 
Last night we reserved our wedding date for October 20, 2018 at Rockn' Dollar Ranch and we are on cloud nine. 
The wedding planning has begun!!
We cant wait and we hope to see all of our closest friends and family there&nbsp;to help us&nbsp;celebrate!
