Oval Beach
Spend some relaxing time at the beach. Just a 10 minute drive from downtown Saugatuck. Parking is $10 fee at the gate with gate open from 9am-10pm.
Other options to get there: Ride the Chain Ferry (Memorial Day-Labor Day) across the river from downtown Saugatuck ($2 per person, each way), and walk a half mile along Perryman Street to the beach.
Call the Interurban Bus, 269-857-1418, from anywhere in Saugatuck/Douglas and they will drop you off and pick you up at the beach for $1 a ride, each way. You will not be required to pay the $10 beach parking fee.

Need a lift? Saugatuck has you covered. You can call up to 15 minutes prior to when you need to be picked up or schedule a pick up time. $1.00 for adults and children 12+. For more info, check out their website or contact them via the number above.
