Where is the ceremony?
The ceremony will be held at Immanuel Presbyterian Church will start at 2 PM.
When should I arrive to the ceremony?
Because the ceremony will start at 2 PM, we recommend that you arrive around fifteen minutes prior to allow time to park, use the restroom, visit with other guests, and find your seat.
What is the dress code?
We'd love to see our family and friends dressed up for the big day! Dress code is semi-formal. No jeans, t-shirts, shorts, etc.
What colors should I avoid wearing?
Colors associated with the bride (white, ivory, etc), as well as the bridal party color of emerald green!
Are kids invited?
We love your little ones! While welcome during the ceremony, we have decided to keep our reception an adults only event with the exception of immediate family.
Can I bring a date?
Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Thank you for understanding!
Is this an "unplugged" ceremony?
While we understand the desire to take photos for yourself to remember the event, we ask that you relax and enjoy the ceremony with us. We will be sharing the photos that our photographer takes as soon as she shares them with us.
Where is the reception?
The reception will be held at The Grand, located inside the Crown Point Courthouse. Cocktail hour will begin at 5:30 PM. Reception will start at 6:30 PM.
Is there parking at the reception?
Yes! There is free public parking surrounding the Crown Point Courthouse, shown in the picture below. While busy on the weekends, your parking space might be a slight walk to the venue. If able, we encourage carpooling!
Will there be an open bar?
Duh! Drinks are on us, but how you feel the next morning is on you!
Can we post photos on social media?
Yes, we encourage guests to post pictures on to their social media channels. Our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #FinallyFriedrich so we can keep track of all of your pictures!
