Our Wedding

Jared and I met through Jake Johnson and Andrea Johnson (huge thanks to both of you 😘) on the 4th of July in 2018. It didn't long until we both knew that this was it! We "clicked" instantly, which was a little bit of a challenge since I was living across the country at the time. I left the lake thinking "okay, I could probably move back here" and quickly reminding myself that those thoughts were probably crazy being that we had literally just met, but knowing in my heart that I absolutely would move back for this boy I met 6 hours ago. Jared did something very out of character for him and flew to see me in Charlotte just a week and a half after that. We spent the weekend paddle boarding on Lake Norman, sitting by the pool, and exploring all of the best spots in CLT while getting to share stories and discovering we have more in common than we realized! For example, that our parents had actually graduated together in a class of 21! After that trip, I was ready to get back home ASAP. We spent the next year taking turns visiting each other almost every month. In June, I made the move back home to ND and in October he popped the BIG question and it was the easiest YES I have ever had to make!

How We Met

Our Story

Shuttle

Shuttle services will be provided from the hotel to the reception location (Haverland Farm) and back. Travel time is about 30 minutes one way. A shuttle will leave the hotel to bring guests to the reception at 5:30. There will be 3 shuttles leaving the reception to go back to the hotel starting at 10pm.

There is a room block at the Courtyard under "Haverland-Kotts Wedding" and the shuttle will be going to and from the reception to this hotel. If you choose a different hotel, you are welcome to still use the shuttle and Uber or Lyft to your final destination! Room block will close on June 16th, 2021. If you are booking after that, you can call the front desk and ask if they will honor the room block price. You can call or use the link to book!
