The Eastern Highlands offer outdoors activities like hiking, horse riding, fishing and golf, as well as superb birdlife and the stunning scenery.

The Montclair Hotel facilities include two tennis courts, a volleyball court, squash court and a full putt-putt course. There is also a golf course at Clairmont.

Other outdoor activities include fly fishing in the surrounding dams and rivers, hiking in the national parks and up the various mountains surrounding Juliasdale.
