Of all places, our story began sophomore year at our local driving school. Ryan claims to have stolen Hailey's heart when he bought her a milkshake at the local diner one day during their break from class. Quite the claim considering it took Ryan a whole year to ask Hailey out on another date. This date happened to be prom where they rekindled the fire and made up for lost time. The two quickly grew closer to each other in the following months and began dating right before their senior year. When high school came to an end, Hailey and Ryan both felt the Lord calling them to different schools, but knew they wanted to make long-distance work. Hailey went to Miami University and Ryan went to Wheaton where they both grew up and met some of their lifelong friends all the while growing closer to each other. Hailey was a frequent spectator at many of Ryan's football games and even made the move to Wheaton for his final season. Despite the long distance relationship, they both knew that their relationship was special and something to be cherished. They've been through many highs and lows and have been there for each other throughout it all. It is evident that God has been working in and through their relationship and that they are passionate about serving the Lord together. On September 24th, Ryan asked Hailey to be his wife right outside of Chicago and the rest is history!
